Luck Title and Loot Scaling
Does loot scaling and/or anti-farming code effect chests?
I've been trying to increase my luck title track by doing chest runs and opening Vabbi chests with lockpicks. I found a decent run where I can open 1-3 chests in about 6 minutes. When I first started the run, over about 10 chests, I would get 8 golds and 2 grapes. Now, I've done the run about 30 times, and am getting the opposite, 2 golds to every 8 grapes. What's going on? |

I definetely think that the farm code goes on when you just enter an area a lot of times repeadeatley (can't spell to save my life XD).
So it also affects the chests. |

Debated over at the other forums but I think it is all random. We do not have an answer as we don't have the codings for Guild Wars. |

Anet says it doesn't, many players says they do. Pick which one you like and go with it as no amount of arguing will ever decide it.
Myself, however, notes that a VERY large number of people think that carrying a rabbits foot actually makes them "lucky" regardless of the fact that it wasn't very lucky for said rabbit. That and I rather suspect that the devs know if they track something or not - but your choice. As was said, we do not have the code and they may be lieing for their own nefarious purposes (we know they hate us, laugh at such things, and do not want people playing their game). At best they are incompetent and do not know if they keep track of how many chests you open (or how often you enter an area) - generally speaking it was just pure luck the random stuff they typed made GW and they have no idea what they really did. |
